Jackie and the ranch (NEW THREAD)

sitting on the colt i chuck at him and gently nudge and he walks and i repete it to a trot then slow him to a stop i coninue varying speeds and halts and turns

Rio Diamond:i kinda get the thought but buck a little every now and then but she always manages to stay on.

after a while i dismount and pet him and untack him i lead his to the hose and rinse him off and turn him loose in the paddock next to his mom

Rio:i nicker and graze

Babe:I nicker lightly

i smile proud of the colts day of work

Rio:i graze

Babe:i gallop to the other side of the pasture and start to birth

~~~After BIRTH~~~
Babe:I stand and clean the new Filly.

Half Moon Blue:
I get up and take in my first breath of nice clean oxygen

K: i come out to check on Babe and cant find her i rush over and see she has foaled and i stop and breath happy she was ok and the foal was ok as well i left the new mother in peace with her foal

Tabs: while i untack her after I get her used to it I led her back into the barn and see a Black horse wondering sniffing the ground
Booker: I follow Shorty's scent into the barn and look up and I see a 12 year old girl standing there with a saddle in her hands
Tabs: I look at him and smile and drop the saddle and run up to him "BOOKER!"
Booker: I get excited and hug her with all my strength and I turn my back to her
Tabs: I smile and get on him and Lightly kick him and ride him to the round pen Jackie's in

(that was three days ago jackie was finished in the ring lol)

(oh whoops I'm sorry I got lost so now shes wherever Jackie is)

(walking back from the mares paddock who just foaled....Babe)

Jackie: walking back to the barn i see a black horse cantering around i looked a little confused until i saw tabitha sitting astride him
"Tabitha get off that horse that minute we dont know anything about him" i called worried

"don't worry" I say and canter over to her and gently pull on his mane "this is Booker. He was my mother's favorite horse to ride when he was living at Lisa's" I say jump off.

Babe:i get up and walk my new filly up to the fence and stand

Blue:i nurse eagerly

i turn adn see the mare and foal
i walk over and unhook babes halter and lead and catch her
"Shes a pretty filly babe you did well." i smiled and then said
"Half moon blue" (?) i said deciding on the fillies name

Blue:i follow mom

Babe:i nuzzle her

I smile at them and hear Five more horses trotting into the driveway "WENDY, BOO, NORMAN, SCOOTER, CODY!" I say and run up to them all and hug them as tight as I can and call you over here
Booker: I walk over there to her and look at them "why did you follow me?"
Wendy: "leadmare doesn't normally stay behind" she said and layed down
Boo: I nuzzled Tabitha and layed down for her to get on
Tabs: I get on him and hold on tight as he gets up

"TABITHA" I screamed when i saw all the wild horses

I patted him "let me down boy before she has a heart attack" boo let her off and she walked over to her with the horses following her "ground me if you must but these are my friends they would never hurt me...on purpose" I say and look at Boo and Norman both bowed their heads

"Tabitha THEY ARE WILD ANIMALS. if you think they are staying you have another thing coming" I said eyeing the horses

the twin five year olds came barreling out of the house

"MARK AND IMOGEN STOP THAT THIS INSTANT" I hollared

"they aren't wild these are the horses that helped take care of me since I was three and I will never forget them and plus if we do keep them try not to let scooter lick you after he eats and I'm 16 now come on! they wouldn't hurt a mouse. Except Norman but thats just because he has big feet"
Norman Nuzzled her and eyed the twins I petted his nose "don't worry they're cool"

I pulled the twins out of reach to the awws and MOMs of them both
"Knock it off the pair of you" i scolded

"And what do you plan on doing with them?" i asked

"well Lisa would have wanted me to take care of them and honestly they're only half the package. If the dogs were still here today you would have 13 dogs on your hands. But I would take care of them 100 % and you won't be sorry and besides all they do pretty much is graze all day and one more thing Scooter and Norman aren't Broke" I say and let the horses come around me "they won't hurt the twins just let them sniff them and get used to them" I said and then Cody pushed his way through and nuzzled me and for the first time let me hold and pet his muzzle

"Fine they can use the back pasture but you have to break scooter and norman" i turned at the sound of a honk
"ITs about time"I growled as the delivery truck pulled up and the two men unloaded five ponies

"Mark, for you is Oliver and Quicksilver, Imogen for you are Tikka and Demetra" i said and had the men lead the horses to the barn and the twins followed excitedly
"Bracken is big enough for me to ride out with the twins on in case something happened and i need to be loer then on a gypsy cob or something" i said to noone in particular
