Jackie begins Tabithas lessons.

I walk to the barn and call over my shoulder
"Untack charlie and turn him loose in his paddock."

I walk into the barn and down the isel to Pagans box
"Hey there baby" i smiled and he nickered happily. I grab the halter and bring him out cross tie him and give him a quick groom.
I then get his all purpose saddle from the tack room along with his bridle and saddle blanket.
I sit the saddle on the door of his box and smooth the blanket into place and then sit the saddle on top of it and girth him gently.

I bridle him and then lead him to the arena and wait for tabitha

I go and untack charlie and let him loose in the Paddock and comt to the arena and see him and smile really big "I thought I would never see a Friesian in person!" I say in a tone that won't spook Pagan

"We have a few here" i said then spoke their names
"This is Pagan, my best horse, hes a stallion, we have kirst, prophet, Willow, titia, ebony, wibrich and her foal hailey, imke, navarra, tear jearker, romeo and keegan" i said helping her into the saddle
"We also run gypsy vanners arabs quarterhorses and thoroughbreds." i smiled

Tabs: I smile and pet pagan

i explain that he just needs light work and i send her out at a walk to warm him up

Tabs: I keep him walking until you tell me other wise

when hes warmed up i tell her to trot him on and as she does i see she has a natural posting and seat

"Doing good" I called to her

I smile and keep the trot absoribing the trot like i'm in a champion ship dressage tournament

Opal:i sit outside the arena and wait for Jackie

Bear:I lay down and sleep

"Ok now press your left heel to his side GENTLY, thats his lope cue and trust me its like sitting in a rocking chair" i beamed

I nod and do what she says and hes lopes "now the next gait is what scares me" I say and I start to tense up

Pagan: i feel her become tense and i flick my tail and make my gait even smoother
J: "Dont worry he wont let you fall trust me. hes one of the best horses to gallop on we have" i smiled
P: I pick the pace up a little at a time until im gallopping and she doesnt even realise its that smooth
J: "There you go" i beam proudly

Tabs: I start to calm down "it feels like I'm riding the wind its so smooth Iv'e never been on a horse like him" I say and pat pagan's neck

"Told you" i beamed

Tabs: I beamed at her and Pagan and breathed a sigh of releif that my fear of running is over

after a while more i tell her to give him a long slow trot and then a long walk around the arena to cool him out and i ducked in and tacked up Raven, another fresian stud who had a little more spirit.
R: i prance as im tacked up sick of being on a hot walker
J: i lead raven out to the arena and when tab dismounted i told her
"Hand walk him while i untack pagan." and i returned to the barn and untacked and gave a good rub down to the horse, boxed him and went back to the arena and helped tab onto raven.

Tabs: I let her help me on and sit on him waiting for her to tell me what to do

"ok now this fellas a little more spirited and a tiny bit jumpy so dont drop your guard cause he tires tricks" I smiled and sent her to walk around the arena

I nod and keep him in a walk and with every time around I ruge him to go a little faster and then hes in a lope

Dingo: I bark setting off her horses

Opal:i growl at the dog and start to stalk toward her angry for disrupting the lesson

Bear:I wake up and watch

Raven: I lope and begin to buck i dis lodge my rider in record time tand then run fast like i so desperatly want to do leaving her in the middle of the arena
J: i hear a loud thump and then racing hooves and race back to the arena and see tabithia on the ground
"Tabitha" i call climbing the fence
"RAVEN" i growl and the horse stops abruptly
"Tabitha" i called racing to her side i lift her gently and shee shes just winded
"You went faster then a walk didnt you? i left you WALKING him and you disobeyed me and youve fallen off" i lift her to her feet easily not happy being disobeyed I leave her standing in the middle of the arena and untack the stallion and leave his gear on the railsi got back and lead her from the arena to the house.
"You are banned from riding any horse, even your horses, until i say so" i said very sternly then i sofftened
"I told you that each horse is different and if you dont know how their mind works you could be really hurt and until you can prove that you can listen you will not get on a horse. You STILL have to clean boxes and turn them out and bring them in and rug, groom and feed them, thats part of owning them." i said and went to check the babies

Tabitha: I nod and look at my elbow which has a gash on it but I ignore it thinking about when Norman stepped on me
Charlie: I snort and trot in the paddock

i return from checking the babies and see her bleeding
"Come on" and i lead her to the office in the barn
