Shane brings Carina

Shane:I pull in and turn around. "Carina are you ready?" I ask.

C:I don't look up from my phone. "Yeah whatever." I answered

S:I sigh. "Put the phone away Carina."

C:I roll my eyes and shut off my phone.

S:"c'mon."

C:"I'm coming Aunt Shane" I said and got out. I slid on my black sunglasses.

S:"Take them oof." I say without looking.

C:I toss them back in the truck. "Let's go." I sighed and walked away from the car.

Candiance: i see another car pull up and i say to natalie:
"Ok natalie just stay like that till i come back he needs to get use to you being there with out thinking your a threat." i said then promised to be back soon, i led cammilla away knowing they needed to be alone.


I show cammila to the lunch room to make a drink
i go to the car
"Hello im candance, welcome to rescue ranch, you must be......shane and carina." i said recalling the appointments.

Natalie;

i stood still, looking straight at the ground.
softly i said "you sure are big" i whispered,
"i bet no one would dare to hurt you, ..... I wont hurt you" i said looking straight at the ground

Gold:Something draws me one step at a time closer and closer until im a hair breaths away Shaking with fear as to why im so close i snort nervously

i held my hand out slowly while i talked
"there there boy, i wont hurt you" i whispered softly

shaking like a leaf i reach out to her and smell her hand and realise she isnt going to hurt me. i sigh heavilly visably relaxed i nudged her softly and nickered

S: "Yed we are, you must be Candace?"

C:I nodded, looking around

(her mom left her on the side of the road, after almost running her over, because she got drunk to much)

(this is a place for kids whove been abuse and no longer trust anyone, example: Natalie, was raped and bashed i think and now sits in her room and doesnt talk at all and always holds her arms.She needs to be able to trust someone, and shes starting with the horse here Goldie.)

i looked up softly "good boy" i giggled softly, taking my head down his forehead

i rub against her for a while.
i hear a noise and spin and with out thinking and trample the poisenous snake

natalie backed up as far as she could, seeing him trample the snake... she watched his eyes "Gold? That snake could have killed me... You saved my life"

i stomped on it a few more times until i was satisfied it was well and truely dead and then trotted to her and nuzzled her

i stroked his neck and talked to him softly for a while.
"im glad i came here, and im glad i was paired up with you."
i slowly kissed his muzzle... trusting him.

i whicker deep in my throat happily

Candance: I return with cam and am amazed at the difference
Gold: I take a protective stance at her side
can: "WOW so much progress in so little time"

natalie stood by goldie her left hand on his neck stroking it, but she saw candance and camilla she got shy and tense.
holding her elbows again she nodded
"Yeah, .. uh,.. Hes a good boy." she said

gold: I nudged her telling her i wouldnt let them hurt her and i nuzzled her then stood protectivly standing my shoulders level with hers

natalie loosened up and stroked goldies neck

Gold: I nuzzled her and turned back to the smiling faces of cnadance and cammilla

"What now?" natalie asked

Can: "You begin his ground work. I ung a halter and lead on the fence before he came out. you need to teach him to lead. Hook the halter on and just pat him then with him on your left ask him to walk and stop when you do" i explained
