Okapi Arrives in heavy foal

Okapi:i trot in and lay down on some soft grass breathing heavily

i run in following and nuzzle her and lay beside her

Okapi:i inhale a deep large breath tehn pusuh and one colt comes out slowly after 1 hour of labor.

Okapi:i stand and clean teh foal

i stand and smile at her and my son

Okapi:i smile and nudge him to standing postion and let hiom nurse" what should we name him?"she asks

Colt:i nurse
Colt:


stallion:

"how about jack"

Okapi:"i was thinking for short Taz"she says

Colt:I look around

"Ok"

(He brought the herd with him)

Okapi:"so his names Jack but for short we'll just call himTaz"she says and nuzzle him.

Rose:i shake my head and graze

Fame:i try the stuff

Jubilee:i go into heat again

Boo:i graze next to Jubilee in heat

i smile and nuzzle her then look over at jubilee and boo "You two will be bred when we get back to the land if you want"

Jubilee:i look at Boo and smile

Boo:i nod

i nuzzle okapi "We will stay here for the night so you and the colt can rest"

okapi:ok"she says and lays down again
Jack/Taz:i lay down

i smile and nuzzle her then walk over to boo and jubilee "Would you two like to be bred here or the land"

Boo:"the land"

Jubilee:"the land"she says

i nod and say to them "We are staying here for the night so she and the foal can rest"

Herd:we nod or graze

Okapi:i sleep

Taz/Jack:i sleep next to mommy

i walk over to okapi and the foal and lay down next to her and fall asleep

Mares:we all huddle up and fall asleep standing

Fame:i lay down and fall asleep

i wake up early and start to graze and drink from a small creek

Okapi:i wake and look at the herd and sigh i stand up shake my mane and stretch out my legs then i graze lightly

Taz/Jack:i graze

i hear her sigh and walk over to her "Whats wrong"

Okapi:"nothing i'm just ready to go back to our home lands."she syas

i nuzzle her "We dont need to go now we can stay as long as you want or need"

Okapi:"i'm ready"she syas

Herd:we wake up and stretch and get ready for the day
