William working..........

I'm leading horses out to their pastures when the car pulls in holding Tabitha she'd been away for a few days and was now back
I let the horses loose and hoked the headstalls to the fence walking back i let my eyes stray to the car.
Neriko and Kai were walking down from the house that Jackie had built us Neriko was heavily pregnant from a break in and raping that had occurred. Her good-for-nothing boyfriend up and dumped her when they found out she was pregant and that she would keep the child.

I looked at her and shook my head thinking why would she be pregnant? and I walked over to Will i smiled at him and petted charlie's nose.

norman shook his head and whinnied

Rio diamond:i nicker from my stall wanting to go on a trail ride from not being ridden since the day Jackie trained me.

William : i smile when she comes over and then saw her look
"She was raped" i whispered

Jackie: I come out and stop and talk to Neriko and Kai softly and then simled at william and tabitha and then heard Rio and smiled. I went and tacked him up and decided on a trail ride.
I tacked the twins ponies and let them come making sure we are all wearing helments.

my eyes widened "and she kept to baby?" I say and Norman whinnies again I pet his nose "calm down boy" i said and he pointed his nose to Wendy.

Wendy was trying to lay down and was groaning in pain "her stomach looks swelled" i say and jog over to her and untie her head collar and lay down with her

I followed her
"I tried to get her to abort it but she wouldnt. Wendy got loose a few months back and i found her in with (insert one of tabithas new herd stallions here), ill get the vet"

I called the vet who was at a colic and would have to perform surgery on the horse and said he would be a long time.

(she actually had a foal named max from a Stallion called Magesty i think so Max is a QHxThouroughbredxFriesian)

wendy layed her head down and breathed hard but evenly "well looks like she'll actually have a foal this time" I said and then looked at him "you do know how to deliver a foal right?"

"im an old hand" i smiled and then said
"We really should get her into the foaling stables, ill need the equipment there" I said and went to the mares head and urged her to her feet.

Wendy slowly but surely got up and walked to where he led her and Tabs Pushed on her rump makeing her waddle quickly

I lead the mare into a stall and get tabitha to hold her lead and keep her on her feet, i went and got three buckets of hot water, the foaling kit and some towels. i went back and used one bucket with disenfectant to cean the mares hind from the sides of her tail to her hocks and her udder, i scrubbed and scrubbed then towled it dry, i took a tail wrap and wrapped her tail to get it out of the way. i go to her head and take the halter off and tug tabitha out of the stall and close the door. We go into the empty stall next door where ive left a note pad, pen, stop watch and the rest of the towels
"She needs to be left in quiet or she wont foal. When the water breaks we time it to when we see the foal begining to emerge if its not emerging within 8 minutes we got problems. she will aslo pass the placenta after the foal." i said explaining to her

I nod listening to him explain it and then I heard her water break

I time it as we watch and see the faol being born with out any needed help. when hes out ai walk through
"Hey wendy hows ya girl" i murmer and rubbed the still body of the foal and clear his nose and throat and when he still doesnt breath i rub his rump to chest virgusorly until i hear him breath

Wendy Leans over and licks his muzzle and soon you hear the first breath...Max opens his eyes and looks around everything is blurry to him so he closes his eyes every five seconds

I leave the stall leaving the mare and son to get to know each other
"Its a colt" i smiled

"I think I know just what to name him" she said and smiled and heard four hooves walking into the stable and I turned around and saw Boo> I shook my head and whistled him over. he trotted over and whinnied. He was answered by two other whinnies

Wendy got up and nuzzled Max and then backed up a few steps. Max got his hind legs standing and started to straighten his front legs

I smiled as the horse came in

"lets name him Max" I said looking at Boo but talking to Will

Max walked a few steps and began to nurse

Rio:i stand still tacked up

Jackie i watch with out showing myself to see that the foal was born swiftly i sneek away leaving a very knogellable william with tabitha

I help the twins mount the ponies and then i mount Rio and nudge him and the twins nudge their ponies and we all walk out on to the trails behind the barns.

Tabs walks to where she can see the foal and calls him over "hes already nursing" she said and then Boo came over to look

William: i walk over and stand beside her.
"Did you ever think about what i told you that night when you went to get the caravan?" i asked her while i watched the foal

(when he told her he really liked her)

"yeah I have" she said her emotion going blank

Max: finished nursing and layed down to take a well deserved nap

I looked at her
"Well?" i prompted

"well I like you too" she said still watching Max intently "and the way you worried for me when I started to walk away" she said and a smile broke out on her face
