Delivery!.

RG: I come up the driveway with Flo. I get out of my truck and knock on the door.

Kirsty: i answer the door
"Hello?" come in how can i help you?"

"I'm here to drop off Flo. You bought her at the market yesterday."

F:I kick out at the trailer. "let me out!" I winney

"Ah i remember, My new steeple chaser" i smiled and walked out pulling the house door shut behind me
I watched as the trailers ramp was lowered and i walked into the truck via the small door near the horses head
"Easy there lass" i soothed her and untied the rope. i urged her softly to back off the truck. I sttod in the sun looking her over
"Ok shes looking great" i lead her to the stable and stabled her i looked over the paper work i had from when i bought her and saw her diet and quickly made her up a feed. I deposited the feed into the feed bin in the stall and checked the waterer was working
"when your done with that ill turn you out" i smiled

F:I eat the grain and nicker at her. Then i drink some water.

when i come back from filling out the mares paperwork and files, i notice she is finished so i halter her and lead her out to a small paddock filled with lush fresh grass and turn her loose.

I canter around the field a couple of times and then begin to graze.

I give the mare a few days to settle in before going to fetch her one morning. i groomed her thoroughly and cleaned her feet.
I lunged her for a little while and then fit a saddle and bridle to her, i took her into the arena and climbed on. I walked then trotted her around before turning her to the small jumps

I do whatever she asks taking the jumps easily and not over jumping them.

I move her from traditional show jumps to brush jumps tarps acting as water etc to see what shes been through

I look at the jump before jumping over the tarp and the jump.

After i finish jumping the series, i turn around and nuzzel her leg.

I pat her and then begin walking the arena circle to cool her out

I walk around bobbing my head slightly
